Hodak Kolstad Marketing is a mature, aggressive and professional organization that covers the Foodservice Industry in Southern California & Southern Nevada (MAFSI Region 22). The company is made up from the merger of Hodak Sales Inc. (est.1959) and stage KOLSTAD associates, Inc. (est. 1963) respectively by Bart Hodak and Fred O. Kolstad Jr. and has a combined workforce of family and non-family team members.
Presently we occupy a 5,000 square foot building with a test kitchen, offices and a warehouse all under one roof in Huntington Beach, California. Our ample facility enables us to cover the foodservice market with a competitive edge. Providing superior service to our customer base is our highest priority. Prompt responses to customer service inquiries, and immediate attention to problems, followed by quick resolutions enhances our relationships with our consultants, dealers, chains and major users.
We are very selective as to the factories we represent. We look for long-term relationships with manufacturers who produce high quality equipment backed by excellent service. We believe in bringing equipment to market that solves problems for the customers we serve through energy efficiency, labor savings and more productivity per square foot of kitchen space.
Our facility allows us to test equipment with prospective clients, host educational training sessions and provide an excellent working environment for our team. The HK Test Kitchen is set up to test all varieties of electric and gas cooking equipment with plenty of space to host training sessions for consultants, dealers, major users and service providers.
Our warehouse is used for consignment inventory from our factories that can help our dealers save a sale through prompt delivery within a day.
Our team includes six (6) full time outside sales personnel and an inside sales team of two (2) full time customer service members and two (2) part-time associates. Besides dealer and consultant sales calls, we are active in working with schools, colleges, hospitals, prisons, major end-users and chains within our territory. Our focus on new project and major remodel specification work generates specifications on projects throughout the country.
In our quest to continually provide better service to our customers, we take special pride in furthering the education of ourselves and our team members.
